ACM Winners Go Home with Cowboys
Silver Spurs & Cowboys, a collection of leather-bound books and an interactive CD-ROM, was
among the gifts presented to celebrities at the 2002 Academy of Country Music Awards in May.
The Silver Spurs & Cowboys collection was given to host Reba McEntire as well as the award
winners at the show. Among the celebrities who received the gift were Martina McBride,
LeeAnn Womack, Toby Keith, Alan Jackson, Tim McGraw, Diamond Rio and Brooks & Dunn.
"We're excited to be a part of the awards show," said Silver Oaks founder and president,
Greg Scott. "It's an honor to be recognized by the biggest names in the entertainment industry."
Five years in the making, Silver Spurs & Cowboys includes three rustic leather-bound books:
Two-Bit Wisdom, a collection of cowboy insights and experiences; Inspirations, scripture passages
with meditations for today; and Journal, a unique book for recording one's own two-bit wisdom.
The CD-ROM has over 400 original photos and 100 video and audio clips from today's cowboys which
gives the user an understanding of contemporary cowboys and their way of life.
The CMA show aired on May 22nd from the Universal Ampitheatre in Universal City, California.
