These are a few of the people who devoted their talents
and energies to the Silver Spurs & Cowboys products.
Many thanks to the cowboys and cowgirls who kindly shared their insights
and time with our creative teem.
Michael W. Rutherford - Photographer
A commercial photographer and studio owner in Nashville,
Tennessee, Michael has produced award-winning
photography for 20 years. In addition to the Silver Spurs &
Cowboys products, Michael's photography is found
in many arenas worldwide. As the official photographer for the
Republican National Convention (1984 and 1988),
he produced photography for a book by former President Reagan,
Bringing American Back. In 1997, he was the
first since Norman Rockwell to be awarded a commission to produce
posters for the National Office of the Boy Scouts of America.
His first book, The American Cowboy: A Tribute to a Vanishing
Breed, was published in 1990. This book,
which sold out in its first printing, is part of the Cowboy Hall of
Fame's permanent collection in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
His desire to travel new lands and meet people across the globe has
been a driving force behind several photographic
trips across the U.S., Canada, Central America, Russia, China and much
of Western Europe. Recent trips to Ireland and
Scotland resulted in the publication of Timeless Ireland: Faces and
Places of the Emerald Isles.
David A. Harrell - Editor/Author of Inspirations
A graduate of Grace College and Grace Theological Seminary, David
is the editor and author of Inspirations.

recorded several CD's of old-time cowboy classics as
well as his own songs. His sincere devotion to the tradition of
cowboy folk tunes has made him the modern day equivalent
