Let's begin by reviewing the minimum system requirements for "Real Life":

Macintosh Minimum System Requirements:
Mac OS 7.1 or higher
132MHz PowerPC
Display capable of 640 X 480 resolution at 16 bit color depth (thousands of colors)
4x CD-ROM drive or faster (8x recommended)
8MB of available RAM after the operating system is loaded
16MB of available hard disk space
QuickTime 3.0 or better (Installer included on CD-ROM)

Although the hardware and software listed above will operate the program, it should be considered the minimum system requirements. For better performance, see the following list of recommended improvements to the system requirements listed above.

MacOS 7.6.1 or better
180MHz PowerPC
8x CD-ROM drive or faster
12MB of available RAM after the operating system is loaded

Windows 95/98/NT Minimum System Requirements:
Windows 95/98/NT4.
166 MHz Pentium
Display capable of 640 X 480 resolution at 16 bit color depth (thousands of colors)
8x CD-ROM drive or faster
16 MB of RAM
Windows compatible sound system
QuickTime 3.0 or higher (installer included on CD-ROM)
16 MB of free hard disk space
